Am extreme Wayne and Ford trivia person and one thing thats always worked on me was finding out if indeed John Stanley " Running Buffalo " in Mclintock, was also a tribesman in The Searchers? I have spotted at least two individuals in the Searchers that may be Stanley, but would like to know before I kick off. I love these connections between films/stock use etc. I could write a book. Thank you.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12663483439156005318noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3552859349076170395.post-63175037670466141262019-03-18T19:40:21.813-04:002019-03-18T19:40:21.813-04:00It felt like a great privilege to mention these na...It felt like a great privilege to mention these names so their contributions can be remembered.<br />Lee Pricehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11140770560633308724noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3552859349076170395.post-891953686530625922019-03-18T19:38:06.158-04:002019-03-18T19:38:06.158-04:00This comment has been removed by the author.Lee Pricehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11140770560633308724noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3552859349076170395.post-23405816165880051222019-03-18T17:47:12.925-04:002019-03-18T17:47:12.925-04:00Great job to many Dine people and many more in fut...Great job to many Dine people and many more in future rolesAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05964811256189788538noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3552859349076170395.post-25993363642014082622017-11-01T15:16:59.318-04:002017-11-01T15:16:59.318-04:00Gotta love Ford.Gotta love Ford.Frank Blackhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11515500573854371279noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3552859349076170395.post-86546765414460072992014-07-12T22:55:03.656-04:002014-07-12T22:55:03.656-04:00Thanks, Silver Screenings! I wish I could have found more research on the exact nature of Navajo participation (and some photographs that identified our Indian stars!). It looks to me like Ford brought a couple of Navajo participants back to the studio for a scene like the dance, but most of the extras were the usual Hollywood suspects in makeup. Our real Navajo band is best scene in the exteriors. But I'd love to see some solid research into this.Lee Pricehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11140770560633308724noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3552859349076170395.post-44708263189360231442014-07-10T10:13:24.902-04:002014-07-10T10:13:24.902-04:00The Native stock company is always a welcome sight...The Native stock company is always a welcome sight for this fan.
